Answer

This is a Windows XP related issue: When you format the card in
Windows XP, the data logger will not function properly and data will be lost.

The following instructions are important for a successful application of the VPFlowTerminal data
logger. Please follow them strictly. Deviations from these instructions will lead to data loss or
damage of the product.

1. THE DATA SIZE IS LIMITED TO 32 MBYTE
The VPT-003 can handle cards up to 512 Mbytes, but it will use only the first 32 Mbytes on the card.

2. DO NOT USE CARDS ABOVE 512 MBTYE
Cards above 512 Mbyte do not work and will lead to malfunctioning of the data logger

3. ALWAYS USE VPSUITE 1.0.18 or a newer version to program the card.
VPSuite automatically formats the card, to ensure proper functioning. When you format the card in
Windows XP, the data logger will not function properly and data will be lost.

4. ALWAYS BACKUP THE CONTENTS of the “data” directory when starting a new session.
