CEO and founder of VPInstruments, is an entrepreneur with strong engineering background and sustainability mindset. With more than 25 years experience in flow measurement, compressed air monitoring and industrial energy management, Pascal has led VPInstruments to develop numerous high-accurate, globally recognized products for energy savings, such as the VPFlowScope 4-in-1 flow meter series and the VPVision monitoring system.
Pascal also actively engages in educational activities, sharing his knowledge on energy efficiency and supporting mindful eco-entrepreneurs and engineers.
Menno Verbeek - VPInstruments
Sales Director of VPInstruments and an expert on compressed air monitoring systems project management. Menno believes that 80%..90% of compressed air saving opportunities are to be found outside of the compressor room and that supply side projects like adding new compressors (fixed or VSD) or implementing controls system should always come after a thorough demand side reduction process where the air distribution, air demand (incl. leaks/artificial demand/inappropriate use/system losses), quality of air and reliability of the system are continuously measured, trended and reported to support fact based system adjustments & improvements.
Cynthia Kuiper - VPInstruments
Operations Director of VPInstruments has almost 20 years of working experience in diverse roles covering sales, marketing, engineering and finance. She has about 12 years of experience at VPInstruments. The last 6 were as Marketing and Finance Director. And recently she is promoted to Operations Director, enabling the growth of the company even further. With a background in industrial design engineering and a career spanning various leadership roles, Cynthia is dedicated to driving efficiency and sustainability in manufacturing industries. She holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Design Engineering from Technical University of Delft.
Sjim Jansen- VPInstruments
Distribution Development Manager at VPInstruments with over 25 years of experience in international sales, account management, and business development across diverse industries, Sjim plays a crucial role in expanding VPInstruments’ market presence. Before joining VPInstruments, he held significant positions in companies within the food & beverage, automotive, and leisure industries, where he focused on growing market share in Europe and managing key international customer relationships.
Throughout his career, Sjim has consistently driven business growth by forging strategic partnerships and excelling in sales and account management. At VPInstruments, he is responsible for managing key accounts that support the global initiatives for compressed air measurement, optimization, and cost-saving strategies
Tim Dugan - Compression Engineering Corporation
Tim Dugan is an energy analysis engineering consulting engineer with 24 years of independent experience in all types of plants, specializing in compressed air, low pressure blowers, vacuum, and process pumping.
Tim is a registered Professional Engineer, Mechanical, in the OR, WA, and CA, and has degrees in mechanical engineering and management science. He has written and taught engineering workshops for over ten years, including for Air Best Practices, LeTourneau University, and his own classes.
Tim is truly the “Compressor Professor”, adding theoretical gravitas to his vast field experience.
Josh Wamser - Industrial Compressor Solutions
A disrupter in the compressed air industry. His training classes and presentations push critical thinking over industry norms. He challenges compressed air professionals and plant personnel alike to get out of the compressor room to drive sustainability.
Industrial Compressor Solutions was founded in 2011 by Josh Wamser, a compressed air expert with over 20 years of experience in compressed air, contracting, training, and engineering. He is proud to employ some of the industry’s most experienced and highly-certified service technicians and compressed air professionals.
Peter Radgen, Professor at Institute for Energy Economics and Rational use of Energy – University of Stuttgart, German
Prof. Peter Radgen’s research focuses on ration energy usage in industrial processes and in cross-sectional technology. In addition to the key topic of energy efficiency, this particularly deals with compressed air, electric motors, compressors, pumps, air-conditioners, and issues relating to energy audits and cost reduction.
The work aims to identify, evaluate and implement efficiency measures to drive a sustainable improvement. The consideration and evaluation of the interactions between the individual sub-systems play a special role in this. This also includes energy matters relating to digitization.
Andrew Still – European Industry Project Manager – Energy – SMC Corporation
European Teams Manager at SMC Corporation oversees energy assessments that help both end users and OEMs work toward a more sustainable planet. With over 30 years of experience in the automation industry, including more than 12 years in the pneumatics industry, they bring extensive expertise to their role.
SMC recognizes that the conservation of the earth’s environment is one of the most important challenges facing human beings and that its contribution is to develop and supply environmentally friendly products as well as train our customers in the best practices available to them.

Master’s graduate in Next Level Engineering from Utrecht University of Applied Sciences, where she completed her thesis for SMC. Currently working at SMC Netherlands, the world’s largest supplier of components for industrial automation, as Product Specialist for Sustainability & Digitalization. In this role, she act as the primary point of contact for customers and colleagues on these topics, managing products and projects with the goal of making the automation industry more sustainable and efficient.
Tomasz Olczyk - ZF CVCS Poland
Maintenance Leader at ZF CVCS Poland sp. z o.o., graduate of Wrocław University of Technology, Electronic Equipment spec. and Stanversity Industry 4.0 Global Executive Post-graduate studies.
10 years of automotive maintenance experience. Involved in production machines improvement and new launches specification. Brings together IT and industrial solutions. Leader of shopfloor sustainability project. Implemented and manages energy monitoring system that consists of more than 200 measuring points with online access and predictive alerts.
Up to date with new technologies and aspires to be sustainability mindsetter for shopfloor and maintenance workers.

Sales Manager of Tamturbo with a degree in automation and mechanical engineering. Result-driven technology enthusiast with a diverse background in manufacturing, oil-free compressed air, and construction industry.
Experienced in diverse roles within R&D, service, sales, and marketing, with a focus on serving global markets. He looks forward to contributing for more efficient, reliable, and sustainable compressed air production. Continuous learning of new systems, understanding customer values and collaboration among various stakeholders are essential for successfully aligning with evolving trends in the compressed air industry.

Automation Engineer, graduate of the Technology University of Bielsko-Biała.
An expert within a heat recovery from air compressors. For over 10 years he has specialized in heat recovery systems from production machines and manufacturing processes. Leader of numerous projects, author and co-author of publications in the field of industrial heat recovery. Manager R&D team within a government subsidized project devoted to the heat recovery from oil-injected air compressors. Co-author of patent applications resulting from mentioned above.
