Current market pricing varies between 5 and 20 Euro/ m3 (3 to 12 USD/100SCF). It is a non-renewable gas, crucial for some industries like medical, electronics and aerospace. Amongst others, is helium used in the semiconductor industry as a protective inert gas.

With the significant industrial growth during the corona pandemic, helium was difficult to source even in 2021. Luckily, resources are now back to normal. However a potential shortage combined with the extremely high price, does make you want to keep helium consumption most efficient and prevent any loss or misuse.
